⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What I Think:
Now there are books that I deemed better because of the stories & the circumstances. But this book got a 5 star rating based on my enjoyment of it. I simply couldn't put it down because I wanted answers! I wanted to know what would happen next!
Dislikes:
During the first maybe 10 chapters things moved very slowly. I don't know if I was just impatient or what, but I think his time alone in the deserted place could have stood to be shortened. I also would have liked answers as to how things got the way they did. Maybe someone present in that deserted place other than "The Driver". Yes, I know the police officer told us during the flashbacks, but I was interested in what the driver exactly was. Also, a part I believe could have been deleted was the whole last fight with the driver. That was just too much. If I hate anything more , it's villains that keep coming back. Just die already!! After a while it just gets annoying & cliché. Ness could have recycled that scene into showing us what happens after Seth decides to venture back into the alternate world.
Likes:
I fell IN LOVE with the characters in this book. None of them were predictable. They were all so unique. There personalities were well developed & Ness is great at portraying them & switching writing gears. Tommy is of course, my favorite character. I thought that I would get confused with the story line & all the details & technicalities, but Ness guided me throughout the book offering great visuals & repetitive information. My brain was in neutral lol. Ness has always impressed me with his work. His novels always have deeper meanings to them & what I love about Ness, is that he's a very relative writer. He can write to any age crowd & keep there attention!
