⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Mary E. Pearson has stepped her game up you guys... Greatly impressed with the turn out of this book! So much better than the first one! (Not that the first one was that bad... that bad)
The Kiss of Deception was where everything was being established and characters and relationships were being developed.
This is where it all comes into play. Feelings, actions, intentions. As the tough gets going, we see Lia getting tougher with it. Throughout the whole book, every character is pushed OUT of their character. If you know what I mean. Rafe is forced to assumed the role of an emissary and pretend that he has no feelings for Lia. Kaden is forced to control his temper... need I go on?
This installment is just full of surprises from everyone. I enjoyed. I can only imagine what the third one will be like.
