Kind (The Good Neighbors)

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Whoaaaa

Alright, I gotta give up for the ending. I’m still loving the graphics and the dark steampunk mood that’s clearly portrayed in the art.

Overall, I like how the same character we started off with are the same characters we see even at the end of the series. Rue’s friends didn’t get washed up in her new found heritage and the attention of all the fae. Her friends weren’t just bystanders, but they contributed to the story by helping Rue.

I also like the smaller conflicts like the tension between Dale and Rue and the budding interest between Tam and Rue.

However

I would’ve liked a a tad bit more on the story of Aubrey, Nia, and Rue.

The ending was really clever and everything fell into a place a little better. I would say I’m content with the series. I’m just happy that I could finally attach real faces and settings to Holly Black’s work.
