What I Think:
I had really high hopes for this series, and Jennifer just disappointed me throughout the whole thing. I made the mistake of buying the whole series before I read the first one. Will I do that again? Yes, Probably...All in all, the concept was good, and I probably laughed 3 times throughout the whole series. It wasn't horrible, I've read worse, but considering the hype on this series, it made my experience all the more horrible.

What was wrong? What didn't I like?
Well for starters, the characters all sounded pretty much the same. No one was distinctly different in personality, humor, or style. Daemon sounded like Kat and Kat sounded like Daemon. The humor was corny and cliche. The dialogue was really dry and undeveloped. The fight scenes weren't well described. I could tell Jennifer knew nothing about fighting...The ending was sloppy, with a tacky rushed sub plot thrown in at the end for dramatic suspense. I have only had to slap a DNF label on ONE of my books ever, and this was so close to becoming the second, but seeing as how I forced myself to read the others, I also forced myself to finish strong with this one.
Really sorry if I just slaughtered your hopes and dreams on this book, (if you haven't read it that is) but I just really did not enjoy it at all. Just my opinion. You may like it though. You can find the series for cheap on bookoutlet.com
