Hooked On Books (bookstore) Review

Hey there bookworms!
I've just went book shopping today in Cottonwood AZ's local book store, Hooked On Books. This book store is huge. It was kinda like pocketbook central though... I don't know about you guys, but I'm not a very big fan of pocketbooks.
Anyway, let me go on to the inconveniences of my trip. It was very disorganized. Throughout the whole time I was there, I didn't see a YA section. I kind of just had to stumble upon stuff. Despite the small post its plastered everywhere, I still saw no differentiation besides the children's books, the romance, and religious. If a book didn't fall in one of those categories, God speed.
Also, to be a used book store, all the books were expensive. Some of the ones I bought weren't even in good shape, but they were still only half off of cover price. (That's what he said, but I believe he charged more than half..) I only bought them anyway because at the time I was picking them I didn't know they would be that much. So it hurt too much to go through with putting some of them back after I was so happy after finding them. So I just went ahead & bought them. Will I come back to the store? Maybe not. There is a strong possibility that I might. Because of ONE reason.

Let me notify you of more important detail. My brother took me to this local bookstore because he is a regular there. & I came to find out that you can do exchanges there. You can bring in your old books and pick out different ones there in the store. You don't even have to pick them out the day you bring in your old books. The owner will put it on your tab and it will accumulate every time you bring in your unwanted books. So I guess my brother had a lot of store credit, so I basically got my whole haul for free.

This could have ended badly if it weren't for the store credit though. My haul came out to a whopping $194... That's ridiculously expensive for USED books. Only one was in prime condition and it was a Mitch Albom book.

So yeah, there's my Hooked On Books Experience!!
Thanks for reading!!!
